The new rules for settling ecommerce transactions introduced from July are directly related to the adaptation of EU regulations to national regulations. This is another step towards sealing VAT. Most of the changes introduced concern commercial transactions made for consumers B C sector. One of such changes is the introduction of the EU OSS procedure. This solution is also to cover certain other services and distance sales of goods within the European Union from July. The MOSS procedure allows traders to avoid registering for VAT in any EU country where there are consumers purchasing services from them. All VAT settlements can be made in Poland. Declarations submitted in the MOSS system contain a list of transactions carried out in a given settlement period for consumers in individual EU countries. VAT settlements under MOSS are independent of JPKV declarations submitted for domestic transactions.
